Children across our trust have been raising money for this year’s Children in Need appeal.
Children at Arlecdon School have raised £473 with a sponsored walk up Dent for its KS1 and KS2 children and a nursery rhyme ramble with its EYFS children.
West Lakes Academy has raised £582.27 with Pudsey paw print face painting, a cake sale and a sponsored game of ‘egg roulette’.
Children at Flimby School have raised £131.21 (so far) by filling a Pudsey face with 1p and 2p coins. The children also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and took part in a colouring competition.
Thornhill School held a coffee morning and the children took part in an art competition, poetry competition and a raffle. The school raised a total of £285.
