We’re expanding our team and are looking for a number of Casual Cleaning Operatives to support our primary schools across the area!

🧽 About the Role
You’ll help maintain clean, safe and welcoming school environments. Working under the direction of senior staff, you’ll ensure our buildings meet the high cleaning standards required for pupils, staff and visitors.
🧹 Your Responsibilities:
• Cleaning surfaces, fixtures, floors & walls
• Maintaining toilets and sanitary areas
• Collecting waste & keeping bins clean
• Replenishing consumables
• Reporting maintenance or equipment issues
• Helping keep premises safe, secure & hygienic
⭐ What We’re Looking For:
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to learn cleaning procedures & health and safety requirements
• A positive, dependable attitude
🎓 No experience needed — full training provided.
📍 Locations: Multiple primary schools across Cumbria
⏰ Hours: Casual/flexible shifts
💰 Salary: £24,413 per annum (FTE)
